BM, born Matthew Jinsuk Kim on October 20, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, is
an American rapper, songwriter, and composer based in South Korea. He gained
prominence as a member of the co-ed group Kard, debuting with them in 2017 under
DSP Media. BM's journey to stardom began when he moved to South Korea in 2011 to
audition for the reality competition show K-pop Star, where he made it into the
