Blue October UK
Blue October is an English synth-pop and dance band from Dagenham, Essex,
established in 1996 by Glen Wisbey and Barney Miller. They signed with the
United States record label A Different Drum and released their debut studio
album, Incoming, in 1998. Following the unexpected death of Miller shortly after
the release, Ross Carter joined the group as vocalist. The band released their
second studio album, Preaching Lies to the Righteous, in 2001, which was
supported by the single “Stranded” in 2000 and the single “Mistakes” in 2002.
