Born on February 22, 1998, in New York City, Blu DeTiger is an American singer-songwriter and bass guitarist. Raised in NoHo, Manhattan, Blu's unique name was suggested by her older brother, and her artistic roots trace back to her Dutch father, a visual artist. She embarked on her musical journey at just 7 years old, picking up the bass guitar inspired by her brother Rex and the rhythms of funk and disco music.
