Bles Bridges
Lawrence John Gabriel Bridges, known professionally as Bles Bridges, was born on
July 22, 1946, in Viljoensdrif, Free State, South Africa. He started his music
career under the nickname Morné, releasing Adios, My Skat with Mini van Heerden
in 1972. His breakthrough came in 1984 with the album Bles, which went gold
within a month and featured the hit song "Maggie". Bridges achieved significant
success with albums like I Am the Eagle, You're the Wind (1986) and One Dance
