Black Taboo is a Canadian hip hop group and video production collective from
Quebec City, emerging from Orsainville, a northern neighborhood of Charlesbourg.
Their early work was distributed on cassette videos within the underground
Quebec hip-hop scene. They gained attention with a first DVD release, That Shit,
That's All! (2006). Following media controversies, including a notable
appearance on Denis Lévesque’s show and subsequent backlash over explicit
lyrics, they released a second album, Crosse-toé ça rend sourd (2007). Other
