Lewis Frederick William Caddick was an English folk singer-songwriter and
guitarist. He began his career singing in folk clubs and festivals during the
1960s. In 1973, he joined Magic Lantern, leaving in 1975 to focus on his solo
career. Caddick gained prominence as a festival artist both in Britain and
internationally. His debut album Rough Music was released in 1976. He
collaborated with notable musicians including Tim Laycock and Peter Bond on the
