Betty Lynn Buckley, born July 3, 1947, in Big Spring, Texas, is an American
singer and musical theater performer. Her breakthrough came with her role as
Grizabella in the musical Cats (1982), where she performed the song "Memory".
She won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 1983 for her role
in Cats. Buckley's music career includes albums such as Betty Buckley (1985),
Quintessence (2008), and Hope (2018).
