Bertram Burkert
Bertram Burkert, born in Apolda, Germany, in 1994, is a German jazz guitarist,
trumpeter, and composer. Burkert began playing guitar at seven years of age and
completed his music diploma at the Weimarer Musikschule Otmar Gerster in 2010.
He studied classical guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar,
earning his bachelor's degree in 2017, while also studying jazz guitar under
Werner Neumann in Leipzig. He released his debut studio album, Das Auge des
Betrachters, with the Bertram Burkert Trio in 2014, followed by his quartet
