Bernd Wippich, born on January 13, 1950, in Hof (Saale), Germany, was a musician
and singer. He began playing in various bands at the age of 13 and formed The
Beathovens in 1965. In 1969, Wippich joined The Petards and released his first
records until 1972. He then moved to Hamburg and joined Randy Pie & Family,
later simply Randy Pie. With Randy Pie, he wrote songs, played guitar, and sang,
achieving significant success with the hit "Highway Driver" (1974), which sold
