Benzion Hakohen Friedman, known professionally as Benny Friedman and born on 3
December 1984 in St. Paul, Minnesota, is an American Hasidic Jewish singer.
After early vocal training and touring with family concerts, his breakthrough
came with the 2009 release of the album Taamu, produced by Avi Newmark. He
followed with Yesh Tikvah – Dawn of Moshiach in 2012, featuring the title track
"Yesh Tikvah", which was later covered by major Orthodox singers. He continued
