Bel Canto
Bel Canto is a Norwegian pop ensemble from Tromsø established in 1985. The group
consists of the musicians Anneli Drecker and Nils Johansen. They achieved
professional recognition for a musical style characterized by dream pop and
synth-based pop with influences from world music and traditional Nordic folk
music. The ensemble was founded as a trio by the vocalist Drecker, the musician
Geir Jenssen, and the multi-instrumentalist Johansen. Their recording career
