Bektas
Bektaş Turhan, also known as Bektas, born in 1975 in Turkey, is a rapper who
moved to Germany at the age of one. He grew up in Berlin-Reinickendorf and
initially trained his MC skills on various Hip-Hop Jams during Open-Mic Sessions
in the early 1990s. Bektas began his career by moderating with Erci at Kiss FM,
which led to collaborations with Cartel and Peter Maffay. His debut EP, Was
Lousn?, was released in 2001. Bektas also collaborated with Sirtlan on the
