Beast Coast
Beast Coast, an American hip hop collective from Brooklyn, New York, was formed
in 2012 by members of Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers. The
group's roots lie in the neighborhoods of Flatbush and Bedford–Stuyvesant. In
2019, Beast Coast released three singles ahead of their debut album Escape from
New York, which was released on May 24, 2019. Notable members include Joey
Badass, Kirk Knight, Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick Arc Elliott. Capital
Steez, a co-founder of Pro Era, died by suicide in December 2012.
