Barbora Poláková, born on October 3, 1983, in Kolín, Czechoslovakia, is a Czech
singer and actress. She entered the Zdeněk‑Jecelin Theatre School at ten, later
studying drama at DAMU in Prague, where she received instruction from
Jana Hlaváčová and others. Her music breakthrough came with her self‑titled
debut album in 2015, which peaked at number 2 on the Czech Top 100 Albums chart
and remained in the Top 10 for 21 weeks. The single "Nafrněná" earned her the
