Bannkreis
Bannkreis was a folk/folk-rock band founded in 2017 in Potsdam, Germany. Four of
the five founding members were also part of the commercially successful
folk-metal band Subway to Sally. The band was formed by blind
multi-instrumentalist Johanna Krins and Eric Fish, the frontman of Subway to
Sally, who met at a concert in 2012 and began collaborating. Bodenski wrote most
of the lyrics. Their first commercial appearance was a feature on Santiano's
album Im Auge des Sturms (2017) with the track "Doch ich weiß es." Bannkreis's
