Banket
Banket was a Slovak pop band. Banket made their debut performance at the
Bratislava Lyre festival in 1984 with the song "Nespoznaný". Their hit single
"Prečo Vy Ľudia XX. Storočia...? / Štrbina Lásky V Grafikone...", was released
in 1985. Their debut album, Bioelektrovízia, was released in 1986. Banket's
music often featured electronic sounds and the band was considered a pioneer of
electronic pop music in Slovakia and Czechoslovakia. The band released their
compilation albums 1984 - 1991 and Gold in 1991 and 2005, respectively.
