Bandolero
Bandolero, a French funk and disco group, was formed in 1983 by brothers Carlos
and José Perez and Gilles Boulzak, with Alexis Quinlin serving as their manager.
The group became known for the funk‑disco-pop single "Paris Latino", which
reached Number 1 on the European charts in 1983 and sold three million copies.
Between 1983 and 1989, Bandolero released records such as "Cocoloco",
"Bagatelle", and "Rêves Noirs". The group released the compilation albums
Référence 80 in 2011 and Paris Latino & More in 2023.
