Banderas
A violinist and arranger, Sally Herbert has worked with Jimmy Somerville's The
Communards. In 1991, she formed the duo Banderas with singer Caroline Buckley.
The duo's synthpop-tinged dance pop earned them a hit with their first single,
"This Is Your Life". His second attempt, "She Sells ", only attracted attention
in the UK. The album Ripe, released shortly afterwards, settled for fortieth
place in the local charts. Banderas disappeared, and Sally Herbert went on to
work on various titles with Robbie Williams, Travis and Deep Purple.
