Miguel Vargas Jiménez, known artistically as Bambino, was a Spanish flamenco
singer born on 12 February 1940 in Utrera. He began his career in local venues
before moving to Madrid to perform at the tablao El Duende in 1961. After
completing military service, he released his first vinyl record, ¡Los
Canasteros! (1964), and earned popularity as the ye-ye gitano in venues like
Torres Bermejas. He achieved significant acclaim with the singles “La Pared”
