Balen
Balendra Shah, known professionally as Balen, was born 27 April 1990 in
Kathmandu, Nepal, and established himself as a Nepali rapper, composer,
producer, and songwriter. He released his debut single "Sadak Balak" in 2012, a
track he had written in ninth grade that reflected the hardships of urban youth
and marked his entry into Nepal’s hip‑hop scene; his participation in the 2013
YouTube battle‑rap series Raw Barz raised his profile underground. In 2019 he
