1997, in Vilassar de Mar, near Barcelona. She first drew attention in 2016 with
“Pai,” a Catalan-language rework of Rihanna’s “Work,” and quickly defined a
sound that mixed dancehall, reggaeton, electronic club music, and pop. Early
