Baby Rasta Y Gringo
Baby Rasta & Gringo are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo formed in 1994 in Las
Monjas, Hato Rey (San Juan), made up of Wilmer Alicea (Baby Rasta) and Samuel
Gerena (Gringo). Starting out as the Eazy Boyz, they surfaced in the 1990s’
underground circuit through appearances tied to DJ Negro’s The Noise projects,
then pushed their own identity with New Prophecy (1998) and the Romances del
Ruido series (2000–2002). They documented their early momentum with Live Desde
