British Columbia, is a Canadian rapper and playwright known for blending hip hop
with literature, theatre, and science. His breakthrough came with The Rap
Canterbury Tales, a one‑man show that premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe
in 2004, adapting Chaucer’s works into rap. Brinkman followed this with
Rapconteur (2010), which featured hip‑hop adaptations of Beowulf, the Epic of
