Japanese rock band BAAD, formed in 1992, debuted under Zain Records in February
1993 with their single "どんな時でも Hold Me Tight". The group consisted of vocalist
Kyouji Yamada, drummer Yasunori Arai, guitarist Shinichiro Ohta, and bassist
Masamichi Kobayashi. Their breakthrough came with the single "君が好きだと叫びたい", which
was used in the anime series Slam Dunk, significantly boosting their popularity.
In 1995, Yamada left the band and was replaced by Hideki Hata as the second
vocalist. The band then switched labels to Nippon Columbia. BAAD released
