Ava Rocha
Ava Patrya Yndia Yracema Gaitan Rocha, born March 21, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro,
is a Brazilian singer‑songwriter. She debuted as an actor with Teatro Oficina in
2006 before launching her music career in 2008 with the eponymous band AVA, who
released Diurno in 2011. Her 2015 solo album Ava Patrya Yndia Yracema earned her
the Multishow Brazilian Music Award for Revelation Artist of the Year and the
APCA award. She followed with Trança in 2018, featuring the single "Joana Dark",
and in 2023 released Néktar.
