Autograph
Autograph was an American glam metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in
1983. The group began their career by playing and recording together before
choosing the name Autograph while driving to a show with Van Halen in January
1984. Their breakthrough came when record producer Andy Johns invited them to
re-record demos at Record Plant Studios, leading to an opening slot for Van
Halen's 1984 tour. This exposure helped Autograph secure a contract with RCA
Records following a performance at Madison Square Garden. Autograph released
