Aurelio Fierro

Aurelio Fierro, born on September 13, 1923, in Montella, Italy, was an Italian singer and actor specializing in Neapolitan and Italian song. He began his career in 1951 after winning a new voices contest, which led to a contract with the Durium label. In 1953, he won the first Festival of Castellammare di Stabia with the song “Rose, poveri rrose!” prompting him to leave engineering for music.
