Auliʻi Cravalho (November 22, 2000) is an American actress and singer from
Hawaii. Born in Kohala, she started singing from a very early age and
participated in her high school’s glee club. Although she wasn’t planning on
auditioning for the lead role of the animated Disney film Moana, a talent agent
convinced her to do so and she was finally selected out of hundreds of
actresses. The film premiered in November 2016 and quickly turned Auliʻi
