Atticus, an American rock band, was formed in 1995 in Knoxville, Tennessee and
initially consisted of Aaron Gabriel, Donnie Shockley, and Allen Clark, later
joined by Nick Swan and Adam Menhinick. Their debut full-length album, High
Expectations, was released in February 2000 by Goldacre & Horner. It showcased
the band's versatility across various rock styles and earned them Rik's Music's
