At Vance
At Vance, a German power metal band, was formed in 1998 by vocalist Oliver
Hartmann and guitarist Olaf Lenk. Their debut album No Escape was released in
1999 under Shark Records. In 2000, they achieved a surprise hit in Japan with
Heart of Steel. The band switched to AFM Records and released Only Human in
2002, embarking on tours with Rhapsody and Angel Dust. Personnel changes ensued,
including the addition of vocalist Mats Levén for The Evil In You (2003). Rick
Altzi joined as vocalist from 2007 onwards. Notable albums include VII (2007),
Ride The Sky (2009), and Facing Your Ene...
