Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri is a Syrian singer born on May 15, 1969, in Damascus.
She began her musical career at age 14 by performing patriotic, religious, and
children's songs. She performed the theme song “Qessas Al Sho'oub” for the
television show Hekayat Alamiyah. Nasri's commercial debut occurred in 1991 with
the recording Law Ta'rafou, which included the tracks “Ya Sabra Yana” and
“Samehtak Ketir”. Her discography included the studio recordings Ighdab (1993),
