Asleep at the Wheel, an American Western swing music group, was formed in Paw
Paw, West Virginia, in 1970 by Ray Benson and Lucky Oceans. The band's early
career included opening for Alice Cooper and Hot Tuna before moving to East
Oakland, California, where they signed with United Artists Records. Their debut
album, Comin' Right at Ya, was released in 1973. In 1974, the band moved to
Austin, Texas, and released their self-titled second album featuring "Choo Choo
Ch'Boogie", which hit the country charts. The following year saw the release of
