Aslan
Formed in Finglas, Ireland in 1982, Aslan is a Celtic / alternative rock band
founded by vocalist Christy Dignam, guitarist Joe Jewell, bassist Tony
McGuinness, guitarist / keyboardist Billy McGuinness, and drummer Alan Downey.
Their first release was the single “This Is,” which became a hit in the spring
of 1986. The band’s live shows began to build a buzz in the industry and after
signing with EMI Ireland, they released their debut album, Feel No Shame, in
