Art Popular is a Brazilian musical group from São Paulo formed in the early
1990s. After performing in local venues, the band released their debut album, O
Canto da Razão, in 1993. Following their signing with EMI, they achieved
significant commercial success with Nova Era (1995), which featured the hits
“Valeu demais," "Bom-bocado," and "Iraê." The group continued to innovate their
sound, incorporating electronic influences on their 1997 release Sambapopbrasil
