Arsonists is an American underground hip-hop group from Brooklyn, formed in
1993. Originally known as Bushwick Bomb Squad, the group was founded by members
Q-Unique, D-Stroy, Freestyle, Jise One, and Swel Boogie. It released the debut
single “The Session” (1996) before signing with the independent label Fondle 'Em
Records and changing its name. The band's debut album As the World Burns was
released (1999) on Matador Records and reached number 78 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop
Albums chart. The album's single “Pyromaniax” reached number 43 on the Hot Rap
