Anaïs Oluwatoyin Estelle Marinho, born 9 August 2000 in Hammersmith, West
London, is a singer who adopted the stage name Arlo Parks. After studying at
Latymer Upper School and completing A Levels in early 2019, she began uploading
demos to BBC Music Introducing, catching the attention of Beatnik Creative; her
debut single "Cola" was released in November 2018 and led to the EP Super Sad
Generation in 2019. In 2019 she signed with Transgressive Records and released
the EP Sophie, followed by the single "Eugene" in May 2020, which gained BBC
