Argentino Luna, born Rodolfo Giménez on June 21, 1941, in General Madariaga,
Argentina, was a singer and composer known for his contributions to Argentine
folk music. Growing up as the son of rural workers, Luna's musical talent
emerged spontaneously without formal training. He began his career in the late
1960s, gaining prominence with his debut TV appearance in 1968 and his first
major hit “Zamba para decir adiós”. Throughout his career, Luna released
numerous albums including Con guitarra prestada canta... Argentino Luna (1968)
