Ardis Hemezida Fagerholm, known professionally as Ardis, and born on March 8,
1971, in Dominica, is a singer-songwriter. She moved to Sweden at age 13.
Influenced by Motown and gospel music, she began writing songs and lyrics. In
1991, Ardis collaborated with American singer/arranger Jon Berger to record her
first demo. Stockholm Records signed her in 1992, leading to the release of her
debut album Love Addict in 1994. The album featured the hit single "Ain't
Nobody's Business" and the breakthrough track "Shotgun", which was used as the
