Arcángel & De la Ghetto was an American reggaeton duo from New York City
consisting of Austin "Arcángel" Santos and Rafael "De la Ghetto" Castillo. They
formed in 2004 after meeting in a studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They debuted
in 2005 with the duet single "Ven Pégate" (2005) on the compilation Sangre
Nueva. The duo gained fame through singles including "Ella Quiere" (2006) and
"Sorpresa" (2007). They disbanded in 2007 to pursue solo careers. Their only
collaborative studio album, Las Nuevas Amenazas, appeared in 2007. Mixtapes from
