Apple, a British psychedelic rock band, was founded in Cardiff in 1968 by Rob
Ingram on guitar and Jeff Harrad on bass. The group released the singles
"Buffalo Billycan" / "Let's Take a Trip Down The Rhine" and "Doctor Rock" / "The
Otherside" in 1968. Their sole LP, An Apple a Day, was released in 1969. Despite
its commercial failure at the time, the album later gained critical acclaim,
with tracks like "The Otherside" becoming classics of British psychedelic rock.
