Apollo's Fire
Apollo's Fire, a period-instrument ensemble specializing in early music, was
founded in 1992 by American conductor and harpsichordist Jeannette Sorrell. The
group made its debut in June 1992 with support from the Cleveland Foundation and
began touring soon after. In 2004, Sorrell expanded Apollo's Fire to include a
multicultural/folk wing specializing in traditional music performed on period
