John De Buck, known professionally as Apashe, was born on 9 May 1992 in the City
of Brussels, Belgium, and works as a producer of electronic music. He moved to
Canada at nineteen, studied electroacoustics at Concordia University, and began
his career as a sound designer for Apollo Studio, contributing to video‑game
soundtracks such as Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs. Apashe’s breakthrough came
