Anu Malik
Anwar Sardar Malik (November 2, 1960), professionally known as Anu Malik, is an
award-winning Indian film composer, arranger, and playback singer. The son of
director Sardar Malik, he was born in Bombay and quickly followed his father’s
footsteps by writing original music for the film Hunterwali 77 in 1977 under the
name Annu Malik. Even though the soundtrack failed to make a splash in the
Bollywood film scene, it was the first of many collaborations with playback
