Antony Genn, born 1971 in Sheffield, United Kingdom, is a British composer,
producer, guitarist, keyboard player, and singer whose career began at sixteen
when he played bass for Pulp in 1988. After a brief stint with Pulp, Genn toured
with Elastica in 1995‑96 on keyboards, and later joined Joe Strummer and the
Mescaleros, co‑writing and producing their debut album Rock Art and the X‑Ray
Style in 1998. He collaborated with artists such as Robbie Williams, UNKLE,
