Antonio Restucci, born on October 8, 1956, in Santiago, Chile, is a guitarist
and multi-instrumentalist known for his contributions to jazz and world music.
At age fifteen, he began performing with Brazilian singer Manduka and Chilean
band Los Jaivas. In the mid-1970s, while living in Peru, Restucci started
composing and exploring folk rhythms on guitar. From 1976 to 1986, he worked as
a lutier, crafting instruments like the charango and mandolin. He joined fusion
