Antônio Nóbrega
Antonio Carlos Nóbrega, born May 2, 1952 in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, is a
singer known for his work featuring cultural traditions from Pernambuco. He
began studying music at age 12 and started his musical career in the 1960s with
Orquestra de Câmara da Paraíba and Orquestra Sinfônica do Recife. In the 1970s,
Nóbrega joined Quinteto Armorial, a group blending classical chamber music with
