Antje Duvekot, born Antje on November 15, 1974, in Heidelberg, West Germany, is
a German-American singer-songwriter and guitarist. She moved to Delaware, United
States, at the age of 13 and began recording music on cassette tapes for
friends. In 2000, her song "Soma" won the grand prize in the rock category of
the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Duvekot's album was Little Peppermints
(2002), followed by Boys, Flowers, Miles (2005). Her first studio album, Big
Dream Boulevard, produced by Séamus Egan of Solas, was released in 2006. In
