Antique was a Swedish-Greek musical duo consisting of Helena Paparizou and Nikos
Panagiotidis, both born in Sweden to Greek parents. In 1999, Antique formed when
DJ friends of Paparizou's brother asked her to record a demo of the Notis
Sfakianakis hit "Opa Opa". She invited her childhood friend Panagiotidis to sing
with her, and they were subsequently signed to Bonnier Music. Their debut single
"Opa Opa" became a hit among Greeks in Sweden and entered the top ten in both
Sweden and Norway. Antique's subsequent singles "Dinata Dinata", "Follow Me",
and "Moro Mou" also charted well...
