Anthony Smith, raised in eastern Tennessee, is an American singer-songwriter and
record producer known for his contributions to country music. His musical
journey began at age five, and by nine, he joined his first band. In his early
twenties, Smith moved to Kentucky and joined several bands before being signed
to Mercury Nashville Records after the label received a demo tape. His debut
album, If That Ain't Country (2002), was released, producing three top 40
