Born on 7 July 1995 in British Hong Kong, Anson Lo Hon-ting, known professionally as Anson Lo, rose to fame as a member of Hong Kong Cantopop group Mirror before making his solo debut in February 2020 with his first single "A Lifelong Mission" (一所懸命). He released a run of follow-up tracks, including fourth single "Teammate" (神隊友), which was used as the interlude song in 2020 youth sport TV drama series We are the Littles and won the Best Newcomer Bronze Award at the 2020 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation.
